At waxmyglowia, we provide event decor rental services. This Return Policy outlines the procedures and conditions for returning rented items after your event.
Rental Period
Standard rental periods are as follows:
- Standard rental: 24-hour period from delivery to pickup
- Extended rental: Available for multi-day events at additional cost
- Weekend rental: Friday delivery with Monday pickup
All items must be ready for pickup at the agreed-upon time. Late returns may incur additional fees.
Return Procedures
Our team handles all pickup and return logistics:
- We will collect all rented items at the scheduled pickup time
- Items should be gathered in the designated pickup area
- No cleaning is required, but items should be free of excessive debris
- All components and accessories must be returned together
- Notify us immediately if any items are damaged or missing
Item Condition
We understand that normal wear and tear occurs during events:
- Minor wear and tear is expected and included in the rental price
- Items should be returned in the same condition as delivered
- Significant damage will be assessed and charged accordingly
- Lost or stolen items will be charged at replacement cost
Damage Assessment
If items are returned with damage beyond normal wear:
- We will document the damage with photos and descriptions
- You will receive an itemized damage assessment within 48 hours
- Charges will be deducted from your security deposit if applicable
- Additional charges may apply for damage exceeding the deposit
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your rental:
- 30+ days before event: Full refund minus processing fee
- 15-29 days before event: 50% refund
- Less than 14 days before event: No refund, but credit toward future rental
- Cancellations due to weather or emergencies will be evaluated case by case
Deposit Refunds
Security deposits are refundable:
- Deposits are refunded within 7-10 business days after item return
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Deductions for damage or missing items will be itemized
- You will receive a detailed statement with your refund
Late Returns
Items not ready for pickup at the scheduled time:
- Grace period of 1 hour is provided at no charge
- After grace period: Additional rental day charged at 50% of daily rate
- Items not returned within 48 hours may be reported as stolen
Weather and Emergencies
In case of severe weather or emergencies:
- Contact us immediately to discuss alternative arrangements
- We will work with you to reschedule pickup when safe
- No additional fees for weather-related delays beyond your control
- Items must be protected from weather damage to the best of your ability
